A Message from Participation Support Services, Executive Director
Participation Support Services takes the health and safety of all clients, staff and volunteers very seriously. We understand that we have entered into a Global Health Crisis and are taking all steps to ensure this safety.
As the COVID-19 Pandemic unfolds, Participation Support Services has been and will continue to follow all recommendations and directions as received through Health Canada, the Ontario Ministry of Health and the local Emergency Planning Team.
This includes restricting visitors in our 24-hour care locations, screening all staff daily, and screening all clients daily as per the recommendations provided. Unfortunately, this may affect our ability to provide services, but we are working to ensure critical care is provided where required.
Participation Support Services has a Pandemic Policy and Procedure which is currently being reviewed by the local Emergency Health Team and will be posted as soon as possible along with any updates.
